The Greenery's Marketing department keeps close track of the latest market developments. We combine new grower developments and information from our international network with data obtained through market research, shopper research and international marketing research panels. Every day, we work to ensure the growing success of our suppliers and customers.

Product marketing

The Greenery develops concepts in order to make fruit and vegetables more visible and more attractive to consumers. We do so on the basis of information about the latest food trends and societal developments. We create propositions that meet the needs and requirements of our consumers. Examples of some of The Greenery's healthy ideas are as follows:

  • Vitapauze - fruit and vegetable subscription for primary school children.
  • Fred & Ed fruit and vegetable snacks - a healthy alternative to sweets and treats for kids.
  • Verse Oogst - meet the people who grow our products.
  • Nature Counts - inspiring growers to adopt safer and more sustainable working methods.

Trade marketing

Our Trade Marketing department monitors market statistics and conducts shopper surveys. We apply the information we gather in order to help our customers improve turnover and profit margins across the entire fruit, vegetable and potato sector. Among other initiatives, we help our customers analyse the product category, assist in the design of an optimal product display and the development of an ideal product mix. We also provide in-store promotional materials - such as displays and packaging - and assist in successfully launching new products.
