A cooperative of growers
We are more than just a trading company specialising in
fresh fruit and vegetables. The Greenery is jointly owned by the
approximately 1,000 Dutch growers associated with the Coforta
cooperative.
Although Coforta is originally a Dutch cooperative, membership
is also open to select international growers. This allows us to
respond more effectively to demand for local products and improve
cooperation with international suppliers.
We share our growers' passion for organic, healthy products. This
results in special forms of cooperation, allowing us to offer
growers and international suppliers intensive supervision and
assistance. We provide support in the area of cultivation, product
innovation and the obtainment of certificates. As a result, we can
rely on a consistent supply of high-quality products that meet the
most stringent food safety requirements.
